Guest Edit: Troi Olivierre
Recently, my wildly creative friend, Troi, and I were talking about the the un-decorated home. In the conversation it struck me when Troi said he never buys anything "of the moment". Instead he hones flea markets, bringing home travel treasures, and has an eye for the very best trash picks. His search is intuitive, and in collecting what he loves, it all works together. Above is Troi's home in upstate New York. I witnessed Troi carrying these Moroccan rugs, bound with twine, on a flight back from Africa. But you don't have to travel to create a home that is not overly "of the moment", but is covetable as hell. Take it from Troi. I do... implicitly.
